When I was first building a list in network marketing, I ran out of interested prospects fast. It was not that I did not have the right mindset, because I was ready and willing to continue learning and stay consistent, as I was, although I was going about it completely wrong for a profit driven business. In building your network marketing business, building a targeted list is crucial to your success in the business and having the right mindset will set you up for success. Your list serves as the main lifeblood for your mlm business leads.

In the history of network marketing there have always been those going out and meeting people, contacting friends and family and allowing themselves to be hindered by the 3 foot rule. That mlm history is troubled by many having zero skills and training required for success in the industry. Its like starting a medical practice without any prior schooling. It just can’t be done, with the exception of the few who get in and already have a great warm market that is open minded. Your warm market is many times will not be as warm to your mlm network marketing opportunity as you may at first think.

I was actually out there meeting new people out and about in social gatherings as I was collecting contact information and giving a call to friends of friends. Needless to say, I lost a few friends because of it.

One guy I called got mad at me for not telling him everything he wanted to know and told me that he runs a very profitable business in the hotel industry as an owner, so would not waste his time in mlm. So instead of trying to pitch a network marketing opportunity to him, I would have been much better off learning from him, as he was a successful business owner and I was the newbie. Instead I shut the door on any opportunity to network with him and others he knew who might have been interested in a good mlm network marketing opportunity and would have been better future mlm business leads in home based network marketing. So basically your warm market is not your best market.

If I was actually looking to work with people that have experience in network marketing business, then I would be more like a network marketing consultant looking to help people of a higher caliber. When you have a potential team of all-stars like a basketball team would, you would be looking for people who have played the game, and not ones who don’t know what the game is and are skeptical. Instead looking to build a network marketing group.

Your list is built through your marketing and nothing else. It can be built that way if you have a list in place or you are a highly respected person in your community or social group. Otherwise you’ll just be dealing with tire kickers at best and annoying the others in the process of building your home based mlm business opportunity.

When you think about what things will have to drive your network marketing business, it is pretty simple.

1. Build a list

2. Build rapport and relationship with that list

3. Monetize that list.

This sales process or funnel is not easily duplicated in creating mlm business leads but being ready to take massive action will help you in the endeavor tremendously as you are actually building your network marketing business as a professional and a student.

communicating with their list, which gives competition away to people who are active in this practice.

Know who you are providing answers to their problems and serving before promoting a website.
Your 3 target audiences are 1. Newbies 2. Experienced network marketers and 3. Curious people
Curious people could very well just be checking you out and would fit into the category of tire
Kickers and competitors. Newbies are also time consuming, not being familiar with mlm and sales
Processes.

With these 3 mindsets in place someone willing to step up and move forward will be willing to do whatever it takes in taking massive action to create a huge network marketing list and look to for more network marketing building techniques and systems that easily allow the list building process to be as friends and family painless as possible in building that home based network marketing business.
